Baby Boy Sweater and Cap
This is a sweater and cap for a 12-month-old boy that I made for a expectant friend. They are made of Bernat Baby Softee yarn.

This is leftover yarn from the afghan in the Sampler Afghan post. This was an idea I had that I thought would be fun. The edgings at the sleeve, collar, front and bottom fill in to the diamonds so that the diamonds are all complete. The sleeves are raglan, with the edge being the join of the diamond edges. This was a lot of fun to make.
This is a sport weight baby yarn, but the color was so good, I made a sweater for me.
Hobby Lobby’s store brand makes this fun two-toned hairy yarn. My only complaint is that it shed quite a bit when I was working with it, but the finished product looks great.
This little big sister/little sister ponchos epitomize girlieness.
Sometimes mistakes still work out. I was going to make this poncho fuller so that it was drapy, but didn’t count correctly and ended up with five points instead of six. Not a problem. It still works.
This one was just pure fun to design. In afghan colors and style, but with the v-neck collar, it’s just crazy enough to be fun. This is made of Lion’s Brand Wool-ease.
It’s getting cold again, so it will soon be poncho weather. The current poncho craze is a knitter’s dream. Here is one that I actually made last year, but I’m just now getting around to posting it. The cable detail on this gets lost with the Lion’s Brand Homespun yarn.
This is another sweater I made years ago. It is made from Simply Soft which, I must say, is simply soft. This was obviously from a time when I had more time.
This is crazy thing I made long ago. This is a shot of the back of the jacket. All I can say is, “What was I thinking?”
