Really want to knit this great afghan! I’m a bit “thick” regarding figuring how many yds needed to complete. I want to complete the “9 repeat” size. The way I figure it: I multiply 206.55 x 2 = 413.1 yds per FOOT x 6 (FT LENGTH) = 2,478.6 YARDS. Likewise, re: ounces: 3.24 x 2 = 6.48 ounces per foot x 6 foot length = 38.88 ounces.

Am I at least on the right track!! Appreciate your help so very much.

  2. I would love to make this afghan in aran wool so I guess that translates to worsted, but not sure how many grams of wool I would need? Many thanks in appreciation of your help

  3. I would like to make this a baby sized blanket with worsted weight. No larger than 30″x30″ and possibly a bit smaller. I’m not sure how it much it would be with less repeats. Also I need to know how much yarn. I’m going to be pressed for time and I want to make sure it’s done.

    Thanks so much,

    Joyce
