This is a quick to make double-thick potholder.
This sample is made with 100% acrylic worsted weight yarn with a size I (5.5mm) crochet hook. If potholder is going to be used with high heat, it is best made in a natural fiber like cotton or wool. With kitchen cotton, I typically use an H (5mm) hook.
Abbreviations:
ch = chain
sc = single crochet
sl st = slip stitch

Ch 33. Turn.
Row 1: Sc in 9th ch from hook. Sc in remaining ch. (25 sc). Ch 1. Turn.
