The Best Crocheted Potholder

15 August 2010
This is a quick to make double-thick potholder.
This sample is made with 100% acrylic worsted weight yarn with a size I (5.5mm) crochet hook.  If potholder is going to be used with high heat, it is best made in a natural fiber like cotton or wool.  With kitchen cotton, I typically use an H (5mm) hook.
