Crib Shrug
30 May 2009
Necessity is the mother of invention, and no one has more necessity than a mother. My son was teething on the edge of the crib, and I didn’t want him to be eating the finish, so I made what I can only think to call a crib shrug to protect him from the finish. It is knitted from Bernat Handicrafter Cotton Lime Stripes. The edging and ties are crochetted.
Oh my gosh! This is the cutest thing I have ever seen. You are very creative and super talented. WOW!
This is so great. It can even help protect a baby from hitting their head against the bare wood. What great rescues we can derive from knitting ranging from making toys to crib wrap, you name it.
Thumbs up to you!
